When two car guys with a vision wanted to protect perfect paint jobs--from curious kids with sticky hands--on expensive show cars , Hot Rod Halo sprung to life.
The Halo system was designed to fit in two bags one person could carry. The car's tires hold the platforms in place. Telescoping poles with spring-loaded cables are strung together to complete the mobile barrier. An unexpected benefit... The cars won more shows.
The SHIFT4D team worked with Hot Rod Halo to redesign and refine their system in SOLIDWORKS, program the tool paths with CAMWorks, and machine the components in our shop.
